Who is Satchel the Cat?

Just who is Satchel the Cat and why is she blogging?

Satchel the Cat is long-haired, very spoiled black cat. A native of Portland, Oregon, she currently resides in Forty Fort, Pennsylvania. Satchel is named after baseball legend Leroy "Satchel" Paige. Much like her namesake, she loves the game of baseball and has a wicked right paw. And, just like Paige, her true age is unknown.

So why is she lending her name to a Blog? Satchel the Cat has had this space reserved on Blogger for over a year and finally decided to take advantage of it.
