The Photography of George Kalinsky

George Kalinsky is the father of my friend, Lee. When I first met Lee while working an event for CBS Sports 13 years ago, he casually mentioned that his dad was a photographer. Little did I know that his dad was the photographer for one of the most famous entertainment venues in the world. His work is amazing. Mr. Kalinsky has also taken photographs at numerous other venues in the New York area and around the world. While looking at his site, I came across this great photo of Satchel Paige and Tom Seaver from the late 1960's/early 1970's when Seaver was pitching for the New York Mets. The great Satchel Paige looks like he could have outpitched Seaver at Shea Stadium that day!
