Last Monday (January 8), I was so excited about Ohio State facing Florida for the National Championship. I left work early, made sure I had a reserved seat at a local bar and looked forward to Ohio State winning another national title.
Well, the first 10 seconds were fantastic as Ted Ginn, Jr. ran back the opening kickoff for a touchdown. After that, Florida spanked Ohio State. It was awful. The Gators were quicker, bigger and faster than the Buckeyes in almost every way. They were an impressive squad to watch as they beat Ohio State, 41-14.
Anyhow, Tuesday was a downer of a day. To those of you that filled my voicemail, thank you. It was great to hear your voices again. (By the way, why did you not call when Ohio State beatMichigan?) To those of you that filled my e-mail, thank you. Your obnoxious words were, well, obnoxious, but I suppose that I deserved alittle bit of it.
At least Ohio State made it to the National Championship game. There is some consolation in knowing this. Still, I would have loved for Ohio State to have won. Oh well, there is always next season. Go Buckeyes!
