Happy Ninth Birthday to Shortstop and Kanawaha! Who are Shortstop and Kanawha? They are my two favorite horses, live in Fort Mill, SC at the Anne Springs Close Greenway. Shortstop is a palomino paint and he turned nine on January 26. Kanawha is a painted walking horse and will be nine later this month on February 28.
The above photo was taken in the fall of 1998. It seems like yesterday that they were colts.
