Happy Opening Day! Today is Major League Baseball's real Opening Day. The Cincinnati Reds, baseball's oldest franchise, will start the season at Great American Ball Park against the Chicago Cubs at 2:10 p.m.
Today is the start of a grinding 162-game season that will see many ups and downs. For this one day, though, all teams are equal. All 30 teams have a shot at the World Series and hope truly does spring eternal. And, like all Reds fans, I'm hoping this is the year that sees my beloved Reds return to the World Series and bring a championship to Cincinnati. Go Reds!
